A video is going viral in social media about a Muslim Kabadi’s honesty who had delivered a packet of ten grams of Gold back to the actual owner who had by mistake sold it to him in the waste material.
The honest kabadi of Faridabad has set a remarkable example of integrity and is being lauded everywhere including by the senior officers of the police department in Haryana.
According to the real incident when a family of one Ashok Sharma of Faridabad, Haryana were going to Kumbh in Haridwar , they safely put about one hundred grams of Gold jewels in a box/ wrapped in a cloth and put it in a sack of Kabaad thinking that no one would doubt that the gold has been clandestinely kept there.
The sack of the waste material was sold to the Kabaadee during the Deepawali and Ashok Sharma forgot about the gold ornaments he had stored with the waste material in the sack, thinking that the jewels are in the almirah as usual.
This was done while cleaning the house during the Deepawali festival days. A sack full of the kabaad was sold to the Kabadee which included hundred grams jewels wrapped in a cloth mixed with the waste material.
After some time when they needed those jewels they tried to search them but of no avail. When the head of the family tried to recollect he got the idea that he had clandestinely put the jewels in a piece of cloth/ small box in the sack of waste material and the same was sold to the KABAADEE.
THE WORRIED FAMILY went to him and enquired from the Kabadee about the gold jewels Sold TO HIM WITH THE WASTE MATERIAL them. THE KABADEE HAZI AKHTAR denied having received them. However, he took another chance and very meticulously search the entire waste material in his Godown finally finding a cloth wrapped around jewels.
He immediately went to the nearby office of the ACP and narrated the whole incident as to how these jewels caMe to him. As he knew the gentleman Ashok Sharma, the actual owner of the jewels, the police called him and returned the entire jewels which according to current value was more than Rs 15 lakhs. It took six months for the Kabadee Haazi Akhtar alias Mr. Khan to meticulously search his entire Godown to finally trace the gold.
The integrity/ honesty exhibited by Mr. Khan has set a unique example of humanity and integrity in minority community indicating crystal clear that all are not dishonest. There are honest people as well in every community and there is no reason to be biased against any community.
