Ramnagar: News of a tiger attack has once again emerged from the Ramnagar area adjacent to the Corbett Tiger Reserve.
It is reported that on Friday, January 2, a tiger attacked a 60 Year-old woman in Sanwalde village, Dhela Range. The woman died in the attack. The tiger even dragged her into the forest.
The deceased woman was identified as 60-year-old Sukhian, wife of Chandu Singh, a resident of Sanwalde village, Ramnagar. Sukhian belonged to the Baksa community.
It is being reported that Sukhiyan had gone to the forest near her home to collect wood as usual with other women from the village. A tiger, already lying in wait, suddenly attacked Sukhiyan. A forest department team has arrived at the scene.
