GARHWALI MOVIE BAULYA KAKA’S FIRST DAY SHOW WENT HOUSEFUL, HALL WAS JAMPACKED

Written and directed by a seasoned filmmaker Shiv Narayan Singh Rawat in Garhwali dialect titled BAULYA KAKA was premiered in Viga Mall , Dwarka on 31 st October going the first day housefull with hall completely jampacked.

Rawat inaugurated the first show cutting the ribbon and being garlended by the director, writer Shiv Narayan Singh. The film is running at Vigas Mall PVR for a week starting from 31 st October.

The title of the movie is quite interesting meaning a mad uncle , the unique role played by the prominent Bollywood actor Hemant Pandey.

The movie commences with Baulya Kaka ( Hemant Pandey) and ends with the same character.

The enthralling movie has been lauded by one and all as the script has done full justice with the profession entertaining the jam packed audience to the hilt who remained glued to their seats till the end, not even getting up after the film included.

The audience danced to the drums and bagpiper tunes of the mesmerising song ” BHEDU PAAKO BAARA MAASAA” at the time of the inauguration of Baulya Kaka and lauded every part of the story.

The movie is primarily shot in the serene beautiful locations of Chamoli full of lush green precincts and attractive villages with outstanding camera work and mesmerising music, including lovely songs.

The dialogue deliveries were excellent and the lyrics of the songs too were highly meaningful.

Jageshwar Joshi, the dialogue writer in Garhwali deserves to be complimented thoroughly.

The main character of the film on whom the entire Garhwali movie is centralised played by eminent Bollywood actor with Kumaoni background Hemant Pandey performed excellently well with dialogues delivered with immense dexterity not giving an inkling of doubt that he is a Kumaoni.

Kudos to Hemant Pandey for keeping the audience glued to their seats by his best performance.

The film highlights the complex issues of social evils, superstitious beliefs and migration in the form of flashback stories in a very interesting way giving the look of three different films in Boulya Kaka not only educating the audience against social evils, superstitious beliefs , illicit liquor addiction and Palayan but also plays a role of extensive mobilisation among the Uttarakhand society.

The Director, writer Shiv Narayan and producer have also acted brilliantly, exhibiting their multifarious talent.

The role of the doctor, mother Suman Gaur, Shiv Narayan Singh Rawat as an American citizen coming back home to meet his ailing mother and Riya Sharma etc have done justice to the characters they played in the movie.
