Social and cultural activist of Uttarakhand Satyendra Rawat breathed his last after suffering from cardiac arrest, RIP

I don’t know why it’s happening with younger generation. Tragic news about cardiac arrests of young boys and men are coming in every now and then. Satyendra Rawat, handsome n healthy man of around fifty years of age, resident of Palam colony breathed his last after cardiac arrest sending shock waves all around. He had yesterday returned from Haldwani by train and thereafter in metro. From Metro station He was walking to his house on foot but suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest and fell down unconscious, no one to give him CPR.
He was a social and cultural activist and been very active in the socio cultural activities of Uttarakhand in Delhi and NCR.

Even during the first day first shows of Uttarakhandi films he was to be seen at the premier enthusing audience to watch regional films in order to promote and preserve the Uttarakhand culture, tradition and folk songs and music.

He was always seen in cultural events of Uttarakhand in Delhi. A jolly human being with a sombre nature he was always seen in all types of events of Uttarakhand with his smiling face and enthusiasm.

His loss is indeed a loss to the Uttarakhand fraternity in Delhi and NCR and everyone would be shocked to see him going on an eternal journey never to come back again. OM Shanti.

May his divine body rest in peace and may the Almighty render enough strength to his bereaved family to bear this irreversible and irreparable loss.

I met him at the Uttarakhand Idol event on 14 th October and he was enthusiastically busy taking the video of the event. His last rites have been performed at Manglapuri crematorium.
