Pregnant Woman in acute pain helped by the police stuck in sliding zone

Salute to Uttarakhand traffic police for safely carrying a pregnant woman in acute pain to the hospital who was held up due to landslide

Today with the help of he local police Uttarakhand and through an ambulance a pregnant woman crying in acute pain has been brought to the Chinyalisaur district hospital after immense efforts. According to the latest news the woman was stuck near the sliding zone due to obstruction of traffic near the Nalupani sliding zone on the Gangotri Highway. With the help of the woman’s family and health workers, the traffic police personnel under the leadership of the traffic inspector Mr. Sanjay Rauthan appointed on the spot the woman was made to cross the danger zone on a stretcher and was taken to Devidhar in a government vehicle of the traffic police without any delay and was then sent to the Uttarkashi District Hospital in an ambulance. The police was so swift in their actions that the woman was satisfactorily ferried to the hospital and is now being attended properly by the doctors concerned. Kudos to all, especially the police personnel who’d help a woman in real distress.
