A daughter of Ranikhet, Haldwani becomes Indigo pilot after fulfilling her long cherished dream
It is indeed a matter of immense pride for a family whose daughter is flying an aircraft of the private airline this not only fulfilling her parents dream but also her long cherished dream since childhood. The pilot in question is Rakha Sajwan originally hailing from Ranikhet Tehsil in Almora district and currently living in Haldwani Tehsil of district Nainital , Uttarakhand. Rekha Sajwan, a highly determined and promising girl is currently stationed in New Delhi piloting the Indigo Airlines. Rekha Sajwan studious since childhood days has a dream of becoming a pilot and she finally stood triumphant in achieving her long cherished dream the day piloting the Indigo Aircraft within the country giving sir rides to hundreds of travellers.
While there is an atmosphere of joy in Rekha’s family due to this unprecedented achievement, her parents are feeling extremely proud. Rekha has given the credit of this unprecedented achievement to her parents. Speaking to media Rekha tells that she belongs to a military family. Her father Inder Singh Sajwan is employed in the Indian Army while her mother Bhagwati Sajwan is an accomplished housewife. Kindly recall that Rekha, a resident of Shyam Vihar Phase 2 of Haldwani tehsil area of Nainital district of the state, has received her primary education from Sainik School. After passing the intermediate examination, she obtained B.Tech degree in Aeronautics from Delhi.
Thereafter she did commercial pilot training. After which she was selected for the post of pilot in Indigo Airlines. UKNATIONEWS congratulated her heartily on her outstanding achievement.
