Delegation meets the Haridwar MP to grant Delhi andolankaries the official status as separate Uttarakhand movement activists

A delegation of separate Uttarakhand movement activists today met the former Uttarakhand chief minister and member of parliament, Lok Sabha from Haridwar Trivendra Rawat and presented him a memorandum/ letter urging to expedite the process of including the Delhi andolankaries as official Uttarakhand movement activists to ensure their pensions and other related facilities announced by the Uttarakhand government. According to a press release today, a delegation of Uttarakhand State Unidentified Agitators went to meet former Chief Minister and current Haridwar MP Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat at his residence. The main issue in which was the listed unidentified agitators of Delhi NCR. In which the long pending issue of identification of about 317 listed unidentified agitators by the government was discussed in detail.All the agitators in the delegation demanded revival of the Government Order issued in 2008 which included the marking of newspapers at the discretion of the District Magistrate. The delegation included Mr Anil Kumar Pant, patron of Uttarakhand State Movement Committee Delhi, Pancham Singh Rawat, Shiv Prasad Baluni Uttarakhand State People’s Forum, Jagdish Kumar Thapliyal, Narendra Singh Bisht, Jagdish Kukreti, Bhaskaranand Navani, Khushal Singh Bisht, etc. Trivendra Singh Rawat has taken the issue seriously and has promised to hold a meeting with unidentified agitators of Delhi NCR this month.
