5 PLAYERS OF GARHWAL UNITED SELECTED for AFC – U-20 Women Asian Cup title be played in THAILAND from 1 st April to 18 April, 2026
The Garhwal United Women’s team deserved to be complimented for their outstanding performance in Women football and subsequent bringing laurels for their team. This year Garhwal United’s team was credited for five if its outstanding players having been selected for prestigious AFC – U-20 Women Asian Cup tournaments representing India women footballers. According to a news report five Garhwal United players have been selected to represent India at the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup, Thailand 2026. The players drafted by Garhwal United are – Hengdedikam, Monisha, Deepika, Shuti and Ribansi and will represent India at the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup, which will be held in Thailand from April 1 to 18, 2026.
Speaking to UKnationnews secretary erstwhile Garhwal Heroes Football Club Anil Negi said that the Indian team will begin its campaign against Japan on April 2, followed by Australia on April 5 and Chinese Taipei on April 8. The team is currently in Bangkok for approximately two weeks of preparation. It may be recalled that the men’s main teams of Garhwal Heroes Football Club former in 1953 has been the Delhi Soccer Champions thrice.
