High Court of Punjab and Haryana resends the case of making several Sadhus impotent by Ram Rahim to CBI special Court for issuing fresh judgement after in-depth study of the matter from a renewed angle
The case pertaining to the controversial Sachcha Sauda chief who is already undergoing life imprisonment in the Sunariya Jail of Rohtak Haryana in a rape and murder case got a huge jolt when the matter pertaining to making some sadhus impotent under the guise of establishing their contact with the Almighty through fake spiritual powers has turned down the relief given to him by the CBI special court in which it had directed the CBI to hand over the case diary to Dera Mukhiya.
The controversial case was today being heard by the Punjab and Haryana High court in Chandigarh in which the learned judge hearing this case turned down the CBI court’s ruling giving relief to the rapist and murderer Sachcha Sauda chief Ram Rahim undergoing rigorous life sentence in Sunariya Jail of Rohtak Haryana by handing the case diary including the statements of 87 witnesses.
The High Court while hearing the case has sent it back to the CBI Court with directions to give the judgement from the renewed angle going through its various pros and cons seriously and in depth.
The CBI has in 2019 filed the plea in the High Court while challenging the Panchkula CBI special court’s ruling.
The CBI special Court had then in an order had given Sachcha Sauda chief Ram Rahim an opportunity to safeguard himself giving directives to give him the case diary, the statements of the witnesses and other concerned documents.
The Highcourt had given directives for the CBI probe regarding making the Dera sadhus impotent by the Sachcha Dera Sauda chief Ram Rahim undergoing the guide of establishment shing their direct connection with Almighty.
The CBI had after making thorough investigations into the case given the status report of this case in the sealed envelope to the High Court.
This case is now going on in the trial court of Panchkula. In 2019 the trial court had issued directives to the CBI to hand over the case diary of this case to Dera chief on the Dera Mukhi’s application.
The CBI has challenged this very judgement of the CBI Court in the High Court. The high court has in its ruling said that the CBI special court’s judgement/ directives were wrong. There is no relevance of statement given to the police and as such giving the witness statement of 87 witnesses to Ram Rahim chief of Sachcha Sauda has no relevance and legal standing. The Hai gh Court’s learned judge hearing this case has catagorically said that the judge of the special CBI court has not gone into the fact that the documents ( of witnesses statements) being asked for has no relevance of legal standing. The highcourt therefore quashes these orders/ judgement and sends the matter to the CBI special court against to ensure that it takes the decision from a new angle taking into account the facts of the case in depth.
