The tragic mysterious death of young software engineer and a solo traveller Abhinav Bhingwal has sent shock waves among his family, relatives and residents of A Block Shyam Park Extension, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

According to a social activist and close relative of the deceased Umesh Rawat thirty six days ago Abhinav Bhingwal has gone to Kasol, Kullu on his own being a solo traveller for few days having stayed in Hotel Kasol.

Several other young boys and girls were also staying here having come from other parts of the country.

On 31 st December, 2022 he probably went to the Parvati river vicinity surrounded by dense jungles for a hotel party and went mysteriously missing.

When the deceased son’s father tried to contact him from Sahibabad on phone after a brief talk or message over mobile phone, late Bhingwal’s phone was unresponsive making them worried.

After their regular efforts to contact their son telephonically, the boys father and some relatives reached Kasol, in Kullu and enquired about him in depth but of no awail. They lodged the FIR and met every senior police officer of Kullu police station urging them to expedite their efforts to search their missing son.

The case was given to the SIT but of no avail. The extremely worried father and the relatives even arranged a private detective agency and spent Rs 2.5 lakhs as their fee apart from other expenses including announcing a reward if Rs 5 lakhs to anyone informing about his whereabouts etc but could not succeed, finally coming back to their residence at Sahibabad empty handed.

When they reached back home – after two days on Saturday they got the tragic news about the dead body of their son found in the river after the police telephonic ally informed them.

The boy was wearing the trouser and shirt but his Jacket was missing including his mobile phone.

The Himachal police retrieved the dead body and informed the traumatic parents about the tragedy and asked them to recognise it after giving the details of the dead body found.

The body has been sent for postmortem but the report is expected. The report of DNA examination is also being awaited.

The relative of the deceased Umesh Rawat in Delhi say that it sounds unusual that a dead body after 36 days is found fully intact except an injury on his cheek and swollen eyes.

Usually after so many days the dead body never remains intact as carnivores n fish etc make it their food. They doubt something fishy?

The Himachal police is investigating the case and the post mortem report may shed light on the actual cause of death.

The boy originally belonged to Garhwal but was staying with his parents at Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. He was missing since 31 December, 2022.

He is believed to have gone to participate in the new year party from Hotel at Kasol to river side at Kasol, Katagala, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh on 31 st December but surprisingly went missing at his contact with his father at Sahibabad, UP.

His father Digambar Singh Mingwal along with the relatives has left no stone unturned to search each and every part of the jungle where he had gone on 31 st December.
