26 year old GOVINDI DEVI BADLY INJURED BY A WILD BEAR AT THARALI , ADMITTED AT AIIMS RISHIKESH

The lives of the women working in agriultural fields or near forests to arrange fodder for their domestic pets like cow, buffaloes and sheeps, goats etc are in absolute danger as the wild bears, maneater leopards and tigers are the real anemies who pose danger to them on regular basis.

Almost every week in Uttarakhand there are several casualties either by deadly transport accidents or by predators, the carnivores ( maneaters) but the Uttarakhand’s forest and wild life department despite its best efforts, as they claim are a total failure to counter these deadly human attacks by wild animals.

Today yet another news is arriving from Boonga village of Tharali Tehsil in Chamoli district where a wild bear has attacked a woman gone to collect fodder for their pets like cow, buffaloes etc.

According to the latest news the woman namely Govindi Devi, twenty six years old, has gone to the nearby precincts to arrange fodder for the pet animals when she was pounced upon by the wild BEAR clandestinely and grievously injured.

The woman crying for help with serious wounds was immediately after great efforts shifted to AIIMS Rishikesh for rendering her the best possible treatment. Her condition is extremely worrisome and the family hopes that she is cured to the best ability of the surgeons concerned at AIIMS Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
