ICONIC FIRST SUPER STAR Rajesh Khanna’s 11 th death to be commemorated on 18 th July at The Treat Chanakyapuri

The eleventh death anniversary of first and original superstar of Indian film industry Rajesh Khanna alias Kaka falls on 18 th July, 2023. This day his fans and followers pay tribute to their iconic superstar in their own way in different parts of the country.

In the national capital Delhi his fans and well wishers too commemorate his birth and death anniversaries by organising a “havan” And musical evening to pay tribute to this super star of millenium including offering meals to hundreds of poor people, construction workers and people of the nearby Jhuggi Jhompri clusters at Chanakyapuri by his die hard fan Vipin Oberoi who was associated with Kaka for pretty long time.

Senior journalist and Rajesh Khanna’s media advisor Sunil Negi also lends his hand of support to these events.

These commemorative programmes are uniquely organised at the precincts of “The Treat” at Diplomatic Enclave behind Jesus and Mary college where once studied the Nehru Gandhi scion Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

Iconic superstar Rajesh Khanna also used to visit “The Treat” often while in Delhi and used to serve the poor on his birthday occasions.

He even inaugurated “The Treat” years ago as its chief guest and was really very fond of this place.

This place is unique where delicious meals are served and Rajesh Khanna’s melodious film songs are screened on a big screen with customers enjoying the ambience and aura of “The Treat”.

Rajesh Khanna considered Vipin Oberoi , owner of The Treat as his younger brother and visited the place to encourage his business too.

So caring was he for his colleagues like Vipin.

This year’s death anniversary is being commemorated at the same venue on 18 th July to pay tribute to this legendary first super state who gave 15 super duper hits from 1969 to 72 enthralling his millions of fans countrywide.
