219 Indian nationals stranded in war torn Ukraine safely airlifted from Romania on Saturday
The Indian Ambassador to Romania Rahul Srivastava on Friday made a moving speech to 2019 Indians working and studying in Ukraine who were on board the Air India’s evacuation flight from Bucharest to Mumbai, India which landed on Indian soil at midnight on Sunday, heaving a great sigh of relief by these otherwise bothered n tense Indians living in the war torn Ukraine.
Addressing the on board 219 Indian students and those working in Ukraine arriving at Mumbai Airport the Indian Ambassador to Romania Rahul Srivastava while congratulating them on Saturday wished them good luck for reaching India n to their respective destinations safe and sound further assuring that the dedicated Indian officers n the entire India government teams n missions are busy in the rescue operations doing their best to evacuate safe n sound each and every Indian from war torn Ukraine and the Indian government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure their fullest safety and safe return to India.
He added that they will not rest until a single n last Indian in the trouble torn country is safely evacuated to India.
He said that the 26th February should be remembered by all of them as a historic day in their life that will always encourage them whenever they face any stiff situation or challenges in their life in the near future.
He was cheered and clapped by all the relieved Indians on board of the evacuation Air India Flight. He concluded his speech saying Jai Hind wishing safe return of the passengers on board the Air India flight that reached Mumbai on Sunday midnight.
