18 th July is the tenth death anniversary of the dashing first and original superstar of India who still rules the hearts of millions of his die hard fans all over the country and the globe. Kaka as he was affectionately known, a nick name given by his foster parents was the most sought after and highly popular first superstar of Bollywood who gave 15 back to back super duper hit films from 1969 to 1971 literally ruling the hearts of his billions of fans. Every year his death and birth anniversaries are celebrated, commemorated all over the country by his umpteen fans in their own ways by way of paying tributes to this first n original outstanding actor cum superstar through cutting of cake and singing of his popular songs in functions. One of his die hard fans and colleague who’d been very close to him Vipin Oberoi running a food stall of delicacies set up by him with Kaka’s help at Chanakyapuri, behind Jesus and Mary college, The Treat commemorates his mentors’ death n birth anniversaries every year by distributing n serving delicious food to the poor n friends in honour of the super star and organising a hawan followed by an event of melodious songs sung by renowned singers. These songs are of Kaka’s, super hit movies. It is in a way the best tributes paid to the first and original superstar of the millenium.
