16000 Uttarakhand NEET aspirants anxiously waiting for starting MBBS session in the current year at Almora Medical College.Wrote to CM Uttarakhand
While the two national parties are busy deriving political mileage on Gairsain issue with the former Congress chief minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat assuring the electorates of the Himalayan state of shifting the permanent capital to Gairsain after coming to power within three years, the UK chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is assuring to do everything possible on this pivotal issue patting his own party that it was during the previous CM Trivendra Singh Rawat’s tenure that Gairsain was officially declared the Summer Capital of Uttarakhand honouring the long pending demand and aspirations of Uttarakhand activists etc.
The government has also announced a day’s winter session to be held in Gairsain on 29 th November to take certain important decisions to please the voters of the state before the declaration of code of conduct reveal reliable sources.
However, nobody is worried about the fate of the NEET aspirants, interested and struggling hard to seek MBBS admissions in the Almora Medical College who had been voicing their genuine and transparent grievances since long on social media n also writing two letters to the chief minister to take an early n immediate decision on this pivotal and obvious demand of theirs, but of no avail.
There have been several tweets to the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami since last week on this pivotal issue drawing the attention of the governor as well highlighting their genuine demand.
In a letter written n sent to the CM, Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami today several aspiring NEET students interested to seek admission in MBBS courses to become future doctors via Almora Medical college viz Lakshita Durgapal, Vaibhav Rajput, Lalit Joshi, Borish Bishnoi,Manish Nautiyal, Akamshita Bisht etc said that about 16000 Uttarakhand NEET aspirants are desperately waiting for the opening of the Almora Medical College and acknowledging the government’s statement on this vexed but pivotal issue.
In a letter , the Uttarakhand NEET aspirants urging the CM to immediately open the AMC from this academic session wrote that NEET aspirants who had really worked hard and are anxiously looking forward to fulfil their dreams of pursuing MBBS from Almora Medical College.
The letter further adds that seeing the current health infrastructure of Uttarakhand and health status of the masses living in the interior hills devoid of medical facilities and adequate treatment in the absence of sufficient number of doctors opening of AMC can provide a devine opportunity to aspiring medical students to serve the state and the nation with commitment n dedication.
The positive decision of the chief minister in this regard will be of great support and help to over 16000 meet aspirants of Uttarakhand interested to seek admission in AMC provided it is opened in the current session of 2020-21 said the letter.
It may be recalled that there is a growing demand by over 16000 Neet aspirants for opening of the AMC this year as the meet counselling is to commence shortly, on 16 th November with the aspiring medical students finding their fate held in swinging mide like a pendulum not sure whether the AMC will open or not. Their parents too are extremely worried and are apprehensive of their intelligent and dedicated NEET sons n daughters badly suffering in case the AMC is not opened.
There are good number of tweets n retweets with medical students repeatedly urging the CM to take immediate n prompt decision in this regard.
