Veteran journalist, a main pillar of CHAUTHI DUNIYA Virender Sengar is no more. RIP

Veteran journalist and the main pillar of Chauthi Duniya newspaper, former bureau chief of a leading Western UP Hindi daily Amar Ujala, a prolific reader, writer with affable nature having behind him more than four decades of journalistic experience having also worked in senior position in Total TV , Lok Sabha TV channel , Sunday Mail etc Virendra Sengar breathed his last today sending shock waves among the media fraternity. Apart from a being leading journalist he was a mentor for budding journalists and a gentle human being always helping them with affable nature. These days he was living in Naukichiyatal in Nainital district and was in touch with his media friends through what’s app and social media channels like Facebook etc. His sudden passing away is indeed a vaccum to Hindi journalism. He was often seen in the Press Club of India with his friends. Paying his condolences on this tragic demise veteran journalist A.U.Asif said : Unbelievable, he was still active today on WhatsApp. As an investigative journalist, particularly for his story on Maliana/ Hashimpura in Chauthi Duniya, he will be always remembered. I was in his contact closely. May he rest in peace. May the Almighty give tolerance and strength to his Judge wife said Asif while paying his tributes to the departed soul. The Press Club of India expressing its deepest condolences wrote on X : The Press Club of India expresses profound grief and sorrow at the passing away of veteran journalist, Virendra Sengar. May God give enough strength to the family and friends to bear this loss. Several senior journalists from the national capital and from other states of the country who had worked with him have written their condolence messages in social media also sharing their experiences while working with him laudung him for his outstanding journalism and his affable nature as a very good human being too.
